I always had a fascination for ghost Pokémon when I was little so I decided my first Pokémon would be a ghost type. When on my tenth birthday my dad and I went to Lavender town to get a Ghastly. I was one of the happiest kids you'll ever meet, but when I showed my friends Shade (my Ghastly) they were scared out their minds. Right away they told me to get a different Pokémon and forget about Shade but I stubbornly refused. My new friend and I are going to be together forever, and we still are. I'm 15 years old now with Shade who is now a Gengar and we training real hard for the Elite Four.
My friends and I battle sometimes and Shade beats their teams to dust. Now they are saying that there is something evil about Shade but I told them there is nothing wrong.
That's when it happened…
"Kadabra use Psychic!" the youngster yelled.  The Kadabra shoots and invisible wave of energy that Shade easily dodges.
"Shade use Shadow Ball!" I shouted and within seconds Shade hurls the blob of darkness at Kadabra. When the Shadow Ball hit Kadabra it flew and slammed onto the ground. It fainted.
"What no way!" the youngster screamed. "How did your dumb Gengar win the battle?!" That is when Shade snapped, his hands turned red and faced them towards and suddenly a blood curdling scream comes from the trainer. I almost threw up when the trainer body slowly morphed into a Kadabra hybrid. His face had the whiskers popping out and the head crunching and cracking into a new shape. The trainer's  five fingers turning into Kadabra's usual three fingers. And I finally saw his spine snap multiple times when the tail was slowly forming also.
"Oh my god." I uttered. When the process was finally over the poor kid was hardly recognizable due to the shape shift. Shade and I ran away from the scene as fast as we could. When we stopped running Shade was staring at me with a sorry look on his face. I petted his head as an act of forgiveness because I knew he did that because of all the hate we get from others trainers.
"For now on only I can say we can use that move understand?" I asked Shade.  He happily nods in understanding.
"We'll call the move Curse for now on" I eagerly said. I thought I'll never use the move again.

"Use Sludge Bomb!" I shouted to Shade. We're in the Elite Four after a few months of training in Victory Road. My friends Nathan and Chris are supporting me as I'm battling Lance.
"Charizard use Flamethrower!" Lance shouts to his last Pokémon.  The fire and sludge connect and it caused an explosion. In the dark fog I can hardly see what happened but when it cleared up I see Lance's Charizard on the ground defeated.
"Jake you won!" Nathan shouted. I was so shocked I was standing there absorbing on what has happened.
"Congratulations" Lance said. "You are now the new champion!" Shade runs towards me and tackles me to the ground.
"We did it!" I shouted with joy. Shade was now spinning me around in circles.

The next few months were awful for me and Shade I was so depressed because when I was in the Johto region when my parents died in a fatal car accident and I didn't make it to their funeral in time. Nathan and Chris felt really bad for me but Shade was the one who comfort me through the whole thing. After the incident I got into a Pokémon battle with a trainer and it didn't go so well. It happened when I won.
"Of course you'll win because of your Gengar using unfair moves!!" the trainer screamed
"No, I wasn't and it's strategy." I said calmly.
"You were using the same move repeatedly!! " the trainer shrieked.
"I don't want to get into a fight, my parents died a –"
"Why did they die?!" the trainer yelled over me. "Because they were ashamed to have you and your dumb Gengar?!"
"DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT MY PARENTS THAT WAY!!" I screamed. In that moment I remember the move I was never going to use until now. Curse…
"Shade use Curse." I ordered. Shade gave me a wide grin and used Curse on the trainer. This time when I saw this trainer turn into a horrible Murkrow hybrid I felt satisfied. Seeing the punishment of this trainer made me realize there are more people to punish. I went through Johto and Kanto using Curse on people who deserved it. Seeing people with Meowth heads, Rattata tails, Squirtile shells you name it someone has it.

This just in a psychotic trainer and his Gengar were last seen at the top of Lavender Tower.
I stare down at the top of the tower seeing the punished mutants walking, limping, or crawling around the town. I also see Officer Jennys trying to round up the punished ones and keeping an eye on me.
"This is the end" I sadly said to Shade. He stares at me with the saddest expression on his face. As I look down again I see Nathan and Chris staring at me from the bottom of the tower.
"We'll meet again Shade, I promise." I said and I jump off the tower. I see the ground coming at me at a fast rate then blackness.
Slowly day by day I see the punished turning back to normal as my soul is stuck in this world. Shade is still with me though and he attacks anyone who gets near my grave. I'm lucky to have a friend like Shade who'll stay with me forever.
well here goes nothing and sorry if it's bad i am only a beginner after all
